Workshop to develop UKGTN Testing Criteria for Familial Breast/Ovarian Cancer

UKGTN held a joint workshop with the Cancer Genetics Group (CGG) on the 15th July 2014 at Chandos House, The Royal Society of Medicine in London.  The aim of the workshop was to develop UKGTN Testing Criteria for Familial Breast/Ovarian Cancer by incorporating recent NICE guidelines to inform national consensus.   UKGTN invited Clinical Geneticists, Cancer Geneticists, Genetic Counsellors, Oncologists, Laboratory Scientists and Patient Representatives.   The list of 30 delegates invited to the workshop is available here.  Dr Fiona Lalloo (Chair of the CGG) chaired the event.  The PHG Foundation has been commissioned to write a report of the event which will include the finalised testing criteria.
